The Beginning
They say tough times don’t last, but tough people do. For Aiyaz, challenges were part of life early on. Instead of breaking him, they built resilience and adaptability, sharpening his ability to understand and fulfil client needs.
Earning while learning throughout his formative years, he climbed the tricky and often slippery ladder of growth one step at a time. That persistence shaped what today stands as an organization with over a thousand clients, among them respected names such as Asian Paints, Canpack, Thermax, KSB Pumps, and the Kirloskar Group.
From orders as low as 50 uniforms, Pashion has delivered thousands of customized clothing pieces, all of them united by three defining words: speed, reliability, and consistency.
The Present
Aiyaz’s entrepreneurial spark found its expression in 2013, when he founded Pashion Clothing Pvt. Ltd. after nearly two decades of grooming while being employed in different organizations. That journey gave him a ringside 360-degree view of business operations, from sales and sourcing to people management and customer service.
Today, Pashion Clothing is one of Pune’s most trusted manufacturers of industrial and corporate uniforms. The company operates from a 6,000 sq. ft. facility in Wagholi, fitted with nearly 50 modern machines, a balanced mix of Indian and foreign brands, including Juki, Jack, Siruba, and Brothers.
This setup is supported by a trained workforce that brings together technical expertise, process discipline, and a shared sense of purpose. Together, they ensure every delivery meets the quality benchmarks Aiyaz set from day one.
The Future
The ever-restless Aiyaz has his eyes firmly on the international stage. While Pashion already exports to Germany and Canada, the plan is to expand this footprint significantly and establish the brand globally.
Supporting him are his children. Atiq Sayyed, his elder son, is pursuing a Master’s in International Business degree from Melbourne, Australia, a strategic move to prepare him for overseas placement and growth. His younger son, Aiyan Sayyed, is already on the factory floor, learning and helping him with operations and management.
With the men out on the field fighting the battle for growth, the enterprise is looked after by Shahenaz, Aiyaz’s wife and co-director, who manages day-to-day affairs to ensure smooth operations. Together, the family aims to cross the ₹100 crore mark within a decade.
