Meet Ar. Ranjana Barve of Panchatatva Designers.

“Creative, Determined, Superwoman” – only a few of many adjectives people who’ve worked with Ar. Ranjana Barve would throw around if you’d ask them about her. Sure enough, Ranjana has been all of that and some more. A pioneering business woman with over 28 years of experience, Ranjana has reimagined the world of architecture through her inspiring interior and landscape designs.

Ranjana’s firm Panchatatva Designers, inspired by nature’s five elements, integrates water, earth, sun, wind, and sky into creative design. Water sets design focus; earth influences structural balance; sun dictates structure orientation and vegetation patterns; wind shapes structural stability; and sky adds aesthetic depth. Her firm excels in crafting eco-friendly, sustainable, and energy-efficient spaces.

Through the years, she has designed several educational, residential and administrative buildings, hospitals, private bungalows, schools and institutions. Her firm continues to partner with reputed builders, Government sectors like Pune Municipal Corporation, Pune smart city, Industrial sector like klaus Union Eng, MUWCO, Tilak education society in Pune to expand the horizons of her creative personality. Currently she is working on the challenging project of redeveloping the Vaikunth Smashan Bhumi; one of the oldest and a 24/7 operational cemetery.

Alongside being an amazing architect, Ranjana is an avid social worker and has been a Rotarian since the past 2 years. With her drive to excel at pretty much everything she does, what started as a rather passive journey in Rotary, has now turned into a full-fledged ambition of hers with her rising up to be the President of Parvati chapter. Balancing her life as an architect and Rotarian, she cherishes moments with her daughter Radhika, who’s pioneering gene therapy in Boston, and Barfi, her golden Labrador. Their morning walks in Taljai greens are a peaceful ritual, where Barfi’s friendly high fives to fellow dogs spark joy.

Ranjana and Panchatatva Designers, driven by a passion for impactful architecture and social change, will continue to tirelessly work to bring their clients’ visions to life with functional, cost-effective solutions.
