How did you start your business?
I started Candle Craft out of a passion for creating environmentally conscious products that add warmth and ambiance to any space. With a background in Architecture, a graduate from sir JJ college of Architecture Mumbai and Masters in Environmental Architecture from BNCA, Pune, I’ve always been attuned to the importance of sustainable practices. After exploring various industries such as solar consulting, energy management, and interior design, I realized there was an opportunity to combine my love for design with my commitment to sustainability in the form of eco friendly soy wax candles which is combination of passion for environment & art.

Can you give us a brief introduction about your brand / company?
Candle Craft is more than just a candle company, it’s a reflection of my dedication to craftsmanship, quality, and empowering women. Candle Craft offers an exquisite range of handcrafted soy wax candles with premium fragrances. Our products, which include wax melts, jar candles, decorative candles, and pillar candles in various scents like rose, jasmine, lavender, sandalwood, mango, vanilla, and kesar chandan and many more made of soy wax are carefully curated to provide customers with an unparalleled sensory experience.

How do you differentiate your business in the market?
What sets Candle Craft apart in the market is our commitment to sustainability and women empowerment. We prioritize using eco-friendly materials and practices in our production process, ensuring that our candles not only enhance the atmosphere but also minimize our environmental footprint. Additionally, we are dedicated to creating job opportunities for women, particularly those from marginalized communities. By providing training and employment opportunities, we strive to empower women to become self-sufficient and economically independent. Our Candles are sustainably made, hand poured with natural plant based wax, we use organic cotton wick and added with premium fragrance oil or essential oil. We avoid plastic packaging. The candle jars are reusable and recyclable. Candle jar can also be refilled with our simple pillar candle refills.

How do you keep yourself updated on your business?
To stay updated in the competitive market, I actively seek out industry trends, attend trade shows, and participate in workshops and training programs related to entrepreneurship and candle-making. By staying informed and adaptable, we can continue to innovate and meet the evolving needs of our customers.
