How did you start your business?
Myself shraddha Kulkarni is paediatrician practicing in Pune since last 20 years. I have done graduation( MBBS)From Kolhapur and have done postgraduate diploma in paediatrics child health from Solapur. I was an academic topper in college as well as achieved University merit in under graduation and received prestigious Pfizer medical award in year 2000. I have also completed professional diploma in clinical research and has worked in the field of clinical research and keep special interest in child diet and nutrition and have developed special diet charts and educational material for my patients Recently I have developed skills in Bach Flower therapy which aims at dealing with small psychological problems of children that the parents face in day-to-day life. It all started after getting my MBBS And Post graduate degree in paediatrics’. After getting enough experience by doing job for around 2 years I decided to start my own clinic in the name of Kulkarni child clinic which is at Warje highway, Pune.
Can you give us a brief introduction about your brand/company?
Kulkarni child clinic aims at quality medical care with special attention towards well baby clinic.it is office-based practice where we deal with routine check-ups, developmental assessment, illness and routine vaccinations.
How do you differentiate your business in the market? (USP)
Quality time for my patients and feeling of family doctor is my USP. Our aim is Understanding parents’ perspective with empathy and giving them practical solutions which will reduce their stress.
How do you keep yourself updated on your business?
We need to undergo continuous learning process through reading, attending seminars and CMEs.
Benefits of your services to the society?
Service of kulkarni child clinic aims at good mental, physical and social wellbeing of each individual and in turn Society. We especially work inculcating healthy lifestyle in an individual through counselling and through social media as well. During covid pandemic we released lot of educational material for masses about how to take care during that period. Kulkarni child clinic also promotes blood donation activities and works for fund raising activity especially for thalassemia patients of Jankalyan Blood bank Pune
What advice would you give to someone just starting their own business?
Be brave and start your own journey. Working hard has no shortcuts Learn out of mistakes, rectify them and move ahead further. Flexibility, getting updated time to time and moving ahead with longer perspective would be key to success.
