How did you start your business?
My Entrepreneurial journey started in the year 2012 from scratch. My Husband Mr. Viraj Kulkarni, was Sales Head in a Reputed MNC dealing into Instrumentation. He encouraged me to start the business as we both are Engineers, he was confident enough about the business idea. To Start the business was like entering completely in a new world because, I had never been into Sales, I was a Lecturer in Engineering Collage in Pune and then a Technical Faculty at Jetking, Nagpur, so switching from teaching sector to Industrial corporate world was a life transforming journey for me, in which I had to learn the very basics of sales & skills like technical skills and pricing & negotiation skills, customer behaviour, market analysis, accounting and many more. We started with Level Instruments of Trumen Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Eventually many reputed companies started approaching us for partnering with them, and gradually we started adding products like Flow, Temperature, Pressure and Analytical measuring instruments in our basket. Currently we have almost complete range of products required in instrumentation of all types of process industries like Power, Steel, Cement, Beverages, Milk, Sugar, Paper, Water and Waste Water Industries and so on
Can you give us a brief introduction about your brand/company?
We trade, supply and provide installation services for Industrial Automation Products such as Level Switches, Level Transmitters, Analytical Instruments, Flow Meters, Pressures Measurement, Temperature Measurement and All Industrial Automation Products. We have exclusive partnerships/ dealerships with our supplier from different parts of India & abroad, for Maharashtra region & some part of C.G & M.P State. All our products and services are the very basic need, of any Process Industry segment like: Power, steel, textile, pharma, food, Material Handling etc.
We feel very fortunate that we were able to serve to India’s most renowned Industries like Adani Power, Dinshaw’s Dairy Foods, Hindalco Industries, CEAT Tyre Ltd., Raymond’s, Reliance Power, Thermax… And many more. Also we have strong and regular customer base of around 150-200 customers.
How do you differentiate your business in the market?
As our company’s tag line is, “We Care Your Process”, we really do so, by providing our customer fully customized, most suitable indigenous products and best in class services to fulfil their requirements by ensuring timely deliveries. We are very customer centric company, because of which, we are able to build a good repo and long term customer relationships to get repeat business for years together.
How do you keep yourself updated on your business?
1. We visit the Industrial Exhibitions happening all around Pune, Mumbai.
2. Try to attend the webinars, meetings related to growth of our business segment.
3. Participating in different online/ offline programmes organised by MSME
4. Subscription of business magazines.
5. Attending online / offline Trainings related to our industry and business growth.
Benefits of your services to the society?
Most of the Industries are facing the challenge of short of technically skilled people to run the process. Here we play a very crucial role, as we both (Me & My Husband are core technical persons, my husband has 20+ years of expertise and myself having 12+ years of expertise and experience in technical sales and service industry we try to solve our customers problem in very precise way and less time. This helps us to grow our business in a very special way.
What advice would you give to someone just starting their own business?
Being an Entrepreneur is a transforming journey, so if someone really wants to be so, he/ she need to be very passionate and ready for the change and ups/downs in the business.
Also one should have the basic knowledge of the business idea & always strive to develop the skills required for his/ her business he is planning to do.
