How did you start your business?

I initiated my entrepreneurial journey quite unexpectedly. It all began during a routine visit to my local bank, where I had gone to inquire about opening a safe deposit box. As fate would have it, I had an unexpected encounter with the branch manager, which would change the course of my career. During our conversation, the branch manager inquired about my profession at the time. I explained that I was currently employed in a role related to loans at ICICI. Little did I know that this seemingly ordinary exchange would open a door to an entirely new venture.

The branch manager, impressed by my background and expertise in the field of loans, proposed an intriguing opportunity. He asked if I would be interested in becoming a Direct Selling Agent (DSA) for their bank, which happened to be the prestigious State Bank of India (SBI). At that moment, I was struck with a mix of excitement and uncertainty. I couldn’t help but wonder how I would navigate this new path. Thankfully, I had a pillar of support in my husband, who believed in my potential and encouraged me to seize this opportunity. Without hesitation, we decided to take the plunge and filled out the necessary forms that very day.

My three years of prior experience in the loan industry undoubtedly played a crucial role in being offered this role directly. It was a testament to my knowledge, dedication, and passion for the field. This chance encounter at the bank proved to be the starting point of my entrepreneurial journey, and it has been a remarkable ride since that momentous day.
