The Founder and Managing Director, Vikrant Vartak shares a special emotional bond with The Senate as developing this workplace was like a dream come true for him. His story as a first-generation entrepreneur began in 2008 when he started an IT recruitment firm called StealthHunt which specialized in ERP, CRM, and Business Intelligence hiring.

Vikrant founded The Senate from scratch in April 2013 in Erandwane, Pune. It is through his optimistic approach and consistent effort that The Senate now boasts of having over 90 percent occupancy across its two locations in Erandwane and Wakad (near Hinjewadi). With 250 seats, 45 plush office suites, six conference venues, and a large banquet hall spread over 21,000 sq ft across two locations; The Senate is gaining popularity among start-up entrepreneurs and well-established firms (MNC & Pan India) alike.

Some of them work alone. Activities like Sports Week, ongoing Yoga & Zumba sessions and a facility like Recreation Center get all of them together and closer as friends. This bonding helps create a small ecosystem around them. Moreover, regularly conducted competitive events like Sports Week get their talent to the fore, something that otherwise stays suppressed under the rigmarole of life.”

Speaking of the future vision for the company, Vikrant says, “We have been following a strategic roadmap towards organization & brand building. We also plan to increase our footprint in Pune by opening more centres. We are already in talks for our third center in Baner. We are also exploring the option to spread our wings to other cities. We are particularly exploring the potential to expand to level two cities like Nagpur, Kolhapur, and Aurangabad etc”.
