During this period, she ventured into several businesses, none of which truly took off. Yet, she refused to succumb to setbacks. Guided by her mantra, “Don’t play the victim; face hardships one day at a time,” she remained resolute. Her determination was fueled by a promise she made to herself: “Come what may, I want to prove that I can achieve it to myself.” In 2017, at the age of 40, she took a bold step and started her own firm. Working from a modest 200-square-foot space at home, she embraced every challenge with grit and perseverance. Over the next six years, she tirelessly built her business from the ground up. Her relentless efforts bore fruit in 2023 when she established a state-of-the-art 4,000-square-foot manufacturing unit, a remarkable milestone that marked a new chapter in her journey.
Her achievements have not gone unnoticed. Within a year, she earned two prestigious awards, a testament to her resilience and vision. However, her success is not measured solely by accolades; it is reflected in the lives she has touched. Through her work, she has created employment opportunities for hundreds of women, from 3 employees to 101 in less than 8 months, many of whom now independently run their households. In doing so, she has shattered societal norms, particularly within the Marwadi community, proving that a homemaker with determination and courage can achieve the extraordinary.
Her children have been her unwavering pillars of support throughout her journey. They played an instrumental role in encouraging her to pursue her dreams, often stepping in to assist in any way they could. From brainstorming ideas to handling logistics, they became her silent partners, cheering her on at every milestone. Even during her toughest moments, her children stood by her side, offering emotional support and believing in her capabilities. They often remind her, “You are the best example of strength and perseverance we’ve ever known.” Their belief in her fueled her drive, making them a vital part of her success story.
