Designing Beyond Boundaries

Ar. Apurva Deogaokar
ARIN Design

Masterplanning at Pandharpur, Chandrabhaga Nagar

Apurva’s academic foundation combines creativity with pragmatism. A graduate in Architecture from Mumbai University, she also holds a Master’s degree in Land and Building Valuation. This rare mix equips her with the ability to blend design excellence with financial sensibility, ensuring that every project is not only beautiful but also viable and sustainable in the long term.

From its offices in Pune and Nashik, ARIN Design has built a diverse body of work that spans public infrastructure, hospitality, healthcare, industrial, commercial, and institutional sectors. The scale of operations is significant: the firm has already designed more than 7 lakh sq. ft. of built-up area and led master planning projects over 110 acres, a scale that speaks to its growing stature. Each project demonstrates not just capability but also adaptability, a hallmark of ARIN’s ethos.

ARIN – Akkalot Bus Station

Few women architects in India are entrusted with large-scale government infrastructure projects, and Apurva is among them. Breaking into this space has not been easy. The architecture and construction industry continues to be heavily male-dominated, and establishing credibility on sites and in boardrooms required Apurva to repeatedly prove her skill and resolve. Over time, through persistence, professional consistency, and on-time delivery, she has earned the trust of institutions and clients alike.

Under her leadership, ARIN Design has executed and managed projects exceeding ₹100 crore in value. At the same time, the firm’s portfolio goes well beyond this. From shaping resorts, hospitals, factories, and institutional campuses, ARIN has built a reputation for delivering projects of scale while maintaining quality and sensitivity to context.

Felicitation by Hon. CM Devedra Fadanvis

Recognition for Apurva and ARIN Design comes not just in the form of awards or publicity but through something more meaningful: the trust of clients and institutions. Every new commission is seen as both an honor and a responsibility, strengthening the firm’s reputation for reliability and innovation.

Looking ahead, Apurva envisions ARIN Design as a multidisciplinary practice with a wider geographic footprint. Over the next five years, the focus will be on sustainable, socially responsible design, with projects that not only serve functional needs but also enrich communities and protect the environment. Expansion into new states and diverse sectors will be central to this journey.

Her design philosophy is grounded in the belief that architecture has the power to transform experiences and improve lives. A resort, for example, is not merely a destination but a cultural and environmental statement. A healthcare facility is more than a building; it is a space that influences healing and well-being. This mindset underpins every project she undertakes.

ONGOING PROJECT – JEJURI

Through ARIN Design, Ar. Apurva Deogaokar continues to chart a path that goes beyond conventional boundaries, of profession, of gender expectations, and of scale. Her journey is proof that architecture is not only about designing spaces but also about reshaping possibilities, leaving a legacy of resilience, innovation, and growth.
